Skin emergency: It’s time to rosehip

Rosehip oil

Feeling a bit rough around the edges? Had a late night accompanied by a few too many vinos? You need some rosehip oil – STAT. If you haven’t tried rosehip oil you are seriously missing out. Introducing this into my evening routine last year was the single best beauty decision I have ever made.
I’m hopeful it will keep wrinkles away – at least until I’m 30 anyway.

Rosehip oil hydrates, has super anti-aging benefits, a high dose of vitamin A (which your skin will love), is known for its healing properties, and even has the ability to lighten imperfections. Jackpot! And it’s definitely worth the cost as the product lasts for quite a long time.

I use it on my lips when they become dry and slather it on my face every night.

But there are some things to consider when buying it. The rewards for using rosehip oil can become nearly obsolete if it isn’t extracted properly. So look out for words like “wild harvested”, “certified organic” and “cold-pressed” on the label to ensure you are not being ripped off. I use Trilogy’s Rosehip Oil.

Some products you could try:

Rose-Hip Vital Rosehil Oil
Kora Organics Luxurious Rosehip Oil
Kosmea Certified Organic Rose Hip Oil
Sukin Certified Organic Rose Hip Oil (my mother uses this one)
